Who We Are
Welcome to Maison des Enfants, a dedicated Child Care Home located in Ambanja, Madagascar. We offer a nurturing and secure environment for orphaned and abandoned children, as well as those whose families are facing challenging circumstances. Our home encourages children to explore life freely and build connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds. We also take care of newborn children coming from very difficult life situations, such as mothers in prison, raising the little ones and giving them every basic need until they reach university. We pride ourselves on our unique approach that fosters education, compassion, and kindness, welcoming all children regardless of their religious beliefs or abilities. We recognize the difficulties in finding a reliable Child Care Home, and we are committed to providing our children with quality education, proper nutrition, healthcare, and a safe, loving atmosphere. Meet Our Team
Maison des Enfants Ambanja was founded 40 years ago by Stefano Scaringella, an Italian medical surgeon and ex-missionary. Today, Stefano continues to support the children through charity funds and donations. Felicite', also known as Grand Mere, is a former doctor from Madagascar who oversees the well-being of the children, including their food, education, and health.
